When was the last time you had a great night out with your girls? Girls night out is an essential part of womanhood. It is a chance to free yourself from daily responsibilities and simply enjoy your self among good friends. It is great to also meet new women through networking which can be a source of inspiration and encouragement.
DeAnna Bookert of The Bookert Agency and Women of Power and Purpose social group, hosted an evening of laughs, inspiration and networking on Friday June 17th. “The Ladies Night Out” event was held at the Columbia Chamber located in downtown Columbia, SC. #LadiesNightSC flourished as guests posted photos and selfies in online under the tag. The propose of the night was for hard-working ladies focus on self and have a good time with new and old friends. This was a great opportunity to network with local women entrepreneurs and creatives.
Guests were able to shop vendors in areas of nutrition, skin care, jewelry, handbags, clothing and spa needs. Each vendor offered an item for a giveaway and door prizes for the “most social activities.” “Ladies Night Out” was about being social and having fun and many guests received prizes for the many giveaways sponsored by each vendor.
Each vendor had something special to share with the event attendees. From Artful Touch By Krista – ATBK, we were reminded that beauty begins on the inside, from what we eat to they type of products we put on our skin. Krista offered guests, samples of her yummy chicken salad and natural skin care products. Jewelry vendor, Lakarsha Mack of Obsession Fashion showcased a beautiful array of necklaces, bracelets and rings. Mary Kay Lady Sharolyn Jackson and her team were in attendance to provide guests with the latest products offered by Mary Kay Cosmetics. E’Lisha Parker of Simply Elegant Catering provided guests with the most delicious pasta salad. Moe Moss of Natural Hand and Foot Therapy provided guests with a relaxing hand massages. Rosalin Chamberlian, event sponsor and vendor of 1st Class Bagz and Accessories wowed the crowd with her beautiful handbags. Chanda Kempson-Brock of J Kempson Styles stole the evening with her custom-made skirts and accessories featuring marvelous prints and patterns, just in time for the summer season.
DeAnna made a special announcement that December 15th will now be known as Wear your Pearls Day in honor of depression awareness, in light of her personal struggle with the illness.
